Cookies

We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our website. Cookies do not cause any damage to your end device and do not contain any viruses, Trojans or other malware. Information is stored in the cookie that results in each case in connection with the specific end device used. However, this does not mean that we obtain direct knowledge of your identity. On the one hand, the use of cookies serves to make the use of our website more convenient for you. For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted after you leave our site. In addition, we also use temporary cookies to optimize user-friendliness, which are stored on your end device for a specified period of time. If you visit our site again to make use of our services, it is automatically recognized that you have already visited us and which entries and settings you have made so that you do not have to enter them again. On the other hand, we use cookies to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you. These cookies enable us to automatically recognize that you have already visited our website when you visit it again. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period. The data processed by cookies is required for the purposes mentioned. Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer, or a message always appears before a new cookie is created. However, completely deactivating cookies may mean that you cannot use all the functions of our website.

Social media plugins

We use social plugins from the social networks Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube on our website to make our company better known. Responsibility for data protection-compliant operation must be guaranteed by the respective provider. We integrate these plugins using the so-called two-click method to protect visitors to our website in the best possible way:

Facebook

Our website uses so-called social plugins ("plugins") of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). The plugins are marked with a Facebook logo or the addition "Social plugin from Facebook" or "Facebook Social Plugin".
An overview of the Facebook plugins and their appearance can be found at the following link: developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins

When you access a page on our website that contains
such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Facebook receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook profile or are not currently logged in to Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.
If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can directly associate your visit to our website with your Facebook profile. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the "Like" button or leaving a comment, this information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on your Facebook profile and displayed to your Facebook friends.
The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in Facebook's data protection information at the following link: www.facebook.com/policy.php
If you do not want Facebook to assign the data collected via our website directly to your Facebook profile, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.

LinkedIn

We use components of the LinkedIn network on our website. LinkedIn is a service of LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Each time you access our website, which is equipped with such a component, this component causes the browser you are using to download a corresponding representation of the LinkedIn component.
This process informs LinkedIn which specific page of our website is currently being visited. If you click on the LinkedIn "Recommend button" while you are logged into your LinkedIn account, you can link the content of our pages to your LinkedIn profile. This enables LinkedIn to associate your visit to our pages with your LinkedIn user account.
We have no influence over the data that LinkedIn collects in this way, nor over the scope of the data collected by LinkedIn. We also have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted to LinkedIn. Details on data collection by LinkedIn as well as your rights and settings options can be found in LinkedIn's privacy policy. You can find this information at linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.

YouTube

Social plugins ("plugins") from YouTube are integrated on our website.
YouTube is an internet video portal that allows video publishers to post video clips free of charge and other users to view, rate and comment on them free of charge. YouTube allows the publication of all types of videos, which is why complete film and television programs as well as music videos, trailers or videos made by users themselves can be accessed via the Internet portal.
The operating company of YouTube is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. YouTube, LLC is a subsidiary of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.
Each time one of the individual pages of this website is accessed, which is operated by the controller and on which a YouTube component (YouTube video) has been integrated, the Internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically prompted by the respective YouTube component to download a representation of the corresponding YouTube component from YouTube. Further information about YouTube may be accessed under youtube.com/yt/about/en. During the course of this technical procedure, YouTube and Google gain knowledge of what specific sub-page of our website was visited by the data subject.
If the data subject is logged in to YouTube at the same time, YouTube recognizes which specific subpage of our website the data subject is visiting by calling up a subpage that contains a YouTube video. This information is collected by YouTube and Google and assigned to the respective YouTube account of the data subject.
YouTube and Google always receive information via the YouTube component that the data subject has visited our website if the data subject is logged in to YouTube at the same time as accessing our website; this takes place regardless of whether the data subject clicks on a YouTube video or not. If the data subject does not want this information to be transmitted to YouTube and Google, they can prevent the transmission by logging out of their YouTube account before accessing our website.
The data protection provisions published by YouTube, which can be accessed at google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/, provide information about the collection, processing and use of personal data by YouTube and Google.

Matomo

We sometimes use Matomo on our websites to collect visitor numbers. In order to tailor the content of the website to the needs of visitors, so-called metadata is collected, which can be statistically analyzed. For this function, the web analysis service Matomo is integrated, which stores a cookie in the visitor's web browser. The visitor's IP address is stored in a form that does not allow any conclusions to be drawn (last octet is replaced by .000). Swiss Business Protection AG can delete this data at any time.

Matomo is a product of the provider InnoCraft Ltd, 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand. The service used (use of the Matomo product) is operated by the company Ops One AG (Zurich). The data collected with this service (including your pseudonymized IP address) is processed and stored on servers in Switzerland. The data is stored for 720 days.

We also use suitable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
